Controversial other-directed four-term Republican Sheriff DAVID SHOAR f/k/a "HOAR" will speak on "police intelligence" at the St. Johns County "unit" of the League of Women Voters of greater Jacksonville. Attend. Ask questions. Demand answers. Expect democracy. Ask SHOAR about his coverup of the September 2, 2010 shooting of Michelle O'Connell. And ask the League of Women Voters why it has
never spoken up in support of Justice For Michelle O'Connell and for other victims of Officer Involved Domestic Violence (OIDV) in St. Johns County, Florida. Meeting is from 10-12 at St. Augustine Beach City Hall, one Friday, June 2, 2017.
In today's
Record:
Shoar to speak at LWV
St. Johns County Sheriff David Shoar will discuss intelligence-led policing and local crime conditions at the League of Women Voters meeting at 10 a.m. on June 2 at St. Augustine Beach City Hall, 2200 A1A South. Intelligence-led policing is a modern approach to crime control built around the assessment and management of risk. Intelligence officers serve as guides to operations, rather than operations guiding intelligence as in the old days.
The meeting is open to the public, and a question and answer period will follow.
