Sunshine Violation? Joint City-County Meeting Wednesday July 25 -- NOT on City website, NO public comment

This is unacceptable.  Too often, Messrs. Wanchick, Regan and minions are deeply insensitive about our rights to open, transparent government. This matters.

There's a lack of a welcoming spirit and a culture of narcissism in both City Hall and County Administration Building.

Enough flummery, dupery and nincompoopery.

Subject: Sunshine Violation by City of St. Augustine re: July 25, 2018 "Joint Meeting"

Dear Mr. Regan, Mayor Shaver, and Commissioners:
1. St. Augustine City Commissioners have scheduled a joint meeting with St. Johns County Commissioners on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.  It is currently:
A.  NOT listed on the City's website on the meetings page.  Why?
B.  NOT scheduled for ANY public comment.  Why not?
2.  I object.  As Robert F. Kennedy said at Berkeley, "It is not enough to allow dissent, we must demand it, for there is much to dissent from."
3. Please place the 7/25 joint meeting agenda on the City's website.
4. Please allow robust and uninhabited public comment at ALL meetings.
5. No more excuses are desired or required.
6.  Cease and desist from violating Florida Constitution, Article I, Section 24 and F.S. 286.  Herein faith not.  Please govern yourselves accordingly.
Thank you.
With kindest regards, I am,
Sincerely yours,
Ed Slavin
