Over on one of the St. Johns County Monster Raving Looney Party's hate websites, "Historic City News," putative "Editor" MICHAEL GOLD is plumping for VIVIAN BROWNING's rejected plan for consolidation of Mosquito Control District operations with another Taj Mahal too boot.
The plan is dead, which does not keep VIVIAN BROWNING from pushing for it.
The First Amendment, in its majesty, protects her right to be less than frugal and rational. Thank God for Commissioners Jeanne Moeller, Janice Bequette and Catherine Brandhorst, who stand like Horatio at the bridge resisting efforts to fleece us with no-bid, sole source contracts, unneeded helicopters and Taj Mahal buildings.
