7-Eleven Permit NOT Granted --- City of St. Augustine's Inept Non-regulation of Developers on Display, as Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, Jr. Galivants in Malaga, Spain

Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, Jr. is now in Malaga, Spain. Spending his money, but with staff paid by YOU.
Before leaving town, the City Manager was alleged to have been quietly granted a permit to 7-Eleven for a gasoline station at May Street and San Marco Avenue.
The permit has NOT been granted yet.
7-Eleven at this location would be a public nuisance.
This public nuisance threatens our history and is at an intersection that is already rated an "F" by FDOT.
This public nuisance endangers evacuation of the barrier island, including Vilano Beach and South Ponte Vedra Beach.
This public nuisance is a monument to human greed and the ineptitude of the eight year reign of ruin of Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR.
On this Labor Day, BOLES was fiddling at a mindless junket in Spain while residents are contemplating what it would be like if 7-Eleven gets to proceed with its plans.
Our City and FDOT must acquire the site through eminent domain and litigate thoughtfully to prevent a public nuisance.
I have requested the permit not be granted (see E-mail above) until the City Manager and staff meet with residents upon his return.
Meanwhile may I suggest six steps:
1. We need a national boycott of 7-Eleven, a greedy Japanese multinational corporation.
2. Contact our Ambassador to Japan, Caroline Kennedy.
3. Contact the Japanese Embassy.
4. Picket the construction site.
5. Elect a new Mayor, Nancy Shaver, and defeat the developers' dopey doormat, our inept "King for Life" JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, Jr.
6. Revise our zoning laws to prevent this outrage from ever happening ever again.
