Ventriloquist act?

Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR. had former Mayor CLAUDE LEONARD WEEKS, JR. answer all questions from FOLIO WEEKLY about their no-bid lease contract for 81 St. George Street, which has netted them some $2-3 million over 25 years. Reminds me of the old Vaudeville ventriloquist act, EDGAR BERGEN and CHARLIE McCARTHY.
BOLES is a lawyer.
Intelligent.
Literate.
He can't answer questions?
He won't sit down with FOLIO WEEKLY and talk about his lease?
He has to use WEEKS to answer for him?
At least EDGAR BERGEN AND CHARLIE McCARTHY were not elected officials -- they were a comedy act.
St. Augustine is not laughing at the BOLES-WEEKS ventriloquist act.
We are mortified.
And, as LBJ said after Selma, "We SHALL overcome!"
What do y'all reckon?

That's odd.

I thought his lips moved when he played fast and loose with the Comp Plan...
