Subject: 81 St. George Street - - no written document approving sublease(s) -- please return the property to the City of St. Augustine. Now.

Dear Messrs. Weeks and Boles:
1. Our City of St. Augustine has never approved your sublease(s) of government property.
2. There is no document of any kind approving your sublease(s) of government property.
3. Your subletting government property without the landlord's written permission is a material breach of the lease and unethical. (Paragraph 8, ASSIGNMENT OR SUBLETTING).
4. Your no-bid lease is already an embarrassment to our City and its residents, reported in a Folio Weekly cover story. http://cleanupcityofstaugustine.blogspot.com/2014/08/folio-weekly-blogger-lease-and-st.html
5. Therefore, please tender the 81 St. George Street property back to the City of St. Augustine to protect our City's global reputation, the public interest and the public fisc. Now.
Thank you.
With kindest regards, I am,
Sincerely,
Ed Slavin

Therefore, the sublease is illegal, right? The City can take back the building now. Please do so.

Ed,

The City has no sublease approving documents.
Verbal approval from tenant to extend contract. Nothing in writing.
Addendum is attached.
