Bill Leary has the environmental law experience and excellent judgement to be a great Mayor.
His column on the artists and entertainers (below) is spot-on.
He has grown enormously as a PZB member and should be drafted to run for Mayor of St. Augustine next year.
I don't always agree with Bill Leary (he's wrong on the idea of having artists rather than the market determine who should be able to sell art).
But Bill Leary's always thinking and has the best interests of our City at heart.
That can't be said of 4/5 of City Commissioners (or our estimable City Manager WILLIAM B. HARRISS).
Three cheers for Bill Leary!!!
