I reckon Representative Proctor is right, Mayor and ex-Mayors are wrong.

See below. How gauche of JOSEPH LEROY BOLES, LEONARD WEEKS, MARK ALEXANDER and other-directed goobers to want to welsh on their request for legislation having the premier university in the State of Florida -- the University of Florida -- help show off our 11,000 years of human history to the world.

I don't often agree with Rep. Proctor (or Rep. Mica). When I agree, I say so.

Rep. Proctor is right. Messrs BOLES, WEEKS, ALEXANDER, et al. are wrong. It sure sounds like they don't know peaturkey about a durn thing, and are so short-sighted they are risking the future of our town on their Brobdingnagian egos.

Knock it off. St. Augustine needs not only UF's help, but help from the National Park Service. It takes a village to raise a child and it takes state and national resources to give birth to the 450th anniversary of St. Augustine (2015), 500th Anniversary of the Spanish Florida (500th), 40th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act (2014) and 100th anniversary of the National Park Service (2016).

What do you reckon?
