Oh, deer!
We went for a walk this morning and saw a great big 'ole deer at 7:05.
We all froze in our tracks, on both sides of the road.
I spoke to her and told her "good morning."
Our dear deer friend nodded, taking several steps toward us.
I spoke to her again, assuring her that our friend the dog was okay, wishing her a wonderful day.
We all stood for a minute, watching each other, admiring her beauty.
She then took off, a beautiful dear deer creature, unafraid, running at a light pace toward the marsh.
Carpe diem! Seize the day!
