It's morning in St. Augustine

In five weeks and one day, we elect a new Mayor.
Out with the rude, crude, barbarous ways of our ancien regime.
Out with the "GOTCHA" government.
Out with the "smeared, bleared and teared with trade" government that works only for favored business owners.
Out with crony capitalism.
Out with the "willful, heedless destruction" of our natural and historic resources.
It's our town.
It's our time.
It's time for a change.
Now.

(With thanks to the Jesuit poet Gerard Manley Hopkins and Robert F. Kennedy for the quoted phrases).
