TOM REYNOLDS FILES TO RUN FOR JAY MORRIS' COUNTY COMMISSION SEAT, AS A DEMOCRAT

Government watchdog Thomas F. Reynolds, Jr. has filed to run for the St. Johns County Commission seat encumbered since 2010 by JAY MORRIS (R-PONTE VEDRA/RPM INTERNATIONAL), who admits he was persuaded to run for office upon meeting Sheriff DAVID SHOAR (R-TOLL BROTHERS/PARC GROUP/NOCATEE).

Mr. Reynolds is a well-researched and frequent critic of local government waste, fraud, abuse, misfeasance, malfeasance, nonfeasance, developer influence, fraud, flummery, dupery and nincompoopery.

Mr. Reynolds supports mandatory Sheriff's deputy and police body cameras.

Mr. Reynolds opposes Sheriff SHOAR's Michelle O'Connell homicide coverup.

Mr. Reynolds might be endorsing a county-wide Inspector General, Ombudsman and greater oversight over constitutional offices, such as St. JOHNS COUNTY SHERIFF DAVID SHOAR, who changed his name from "HOAR" in 1994, did the bidding of the First Amendment by harassing St. George artists and musicians, and was elected Sheriff in 2004.

No Democrat has run in a county-wide contested partisan race since 2006.

SHOAR and other County officials have been elected running as Republicans after finding louche lapdogs to run as "write-in" or No Party Affiliation candidates, making a mockery of what Florida constitutional laws requires when the only candidates running are members of one political parties. No local "Republican" dares speak out against the evil of phony candidates and illegally closed "universal primaries" frustrating Article VI, Section 5(b) of our Florida Constitution.

Tom Reynolds has been on our side helping to expose corruption. While very enthusiastic to the point of offending some people his intentions are always good and he projects our common disgust of our local governments corruption. While I'm not convinced that he would be able to fix our county by himself I do believe he would put forth all of his efforts to insure the government is honest with us. Thank you for everything Tom and for all of our sakes good luck to you.
