Recently, there have been broadcast news stories about my opponent, VICHY OAKES, incumbent St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, opening the office on Monday, February 16, 2020 to allow people to register to vote or change their party registration on President's Day.
My opponent, incumbent VICHY OAKES, St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, is trying to sound like a Democrat (while taking dirty money from former St. Augustine City Manager WILLIAM BARRY BARRISS (who dumped a landfill in a lake) and his henchman/boss, Sheriff DAVID SHOAR, who legally changed his name from "HOAR" in 1994, and is most noted for The New York Times and PBS Frontline reports on his coverup of the September 2, 2010 murder of Ms. Michelle O'Connell in the home of Deputy JEREMY BANKS.

Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg is opening a Tallahassee field office, making him the first 2020 contender to have a brick-and-mortar presence in Florida's capital.
The Tallahassee office at 214 S. Bronough St. — the former downtown headquarters of the Florida Democratic Party — hosted a grand opening at noon Saturday.
It's one of seven new field offices the billionaire businessman and three-term former New York City mayor will open in the Sunshine State, making a total of 10 — "the most of any Democratic candidate by far," the campaign said. “By opening field offices in all parts of the state, we are showing Floridians that Mike is ready to hit the ground running to defeat Donald Trump in November,” said Scott Kosanovich, Bloomberg's Florida state director, in a statement.
“Having a groundswell of support and staff will allow Mike’s plan and vision for Florida to be that much stronger,” he added.
The Tallahassee office opening featured members of what they call "Team Bloomberg," including former City Commissioner Gil Ziffer.
Bloomberg's first Florida offices were in Miami, St. Petersburg and Orlando. Others opening this weekend are in Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, Sanford, Sarasota, Tampa and West Palm Beach.
The campaign "plans to open 10 more in the coming days," it said.
So far the capital city has seen little commitment from the Democratic presidential field.
Sen. Amy Klobuchar, whose surprise third place in New Hampshire brought her new momentum, was the first and only candidate to visit Tallahassee during a brief swing by the Capitol in April 2019. Then Jill Biden stopped by in December for a fundraiser on behalf of her husband, Joe.
