PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) -- The Florida Bar is now investigating former Northwest Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz.
The Florida Bar confirmed Friday that there is an open investigation.
The agency says open discipline cases are confidential and there is no other public information.
According to the Florida Bar, these cases begin after a complaint or inquiry questioning the conduct of a lawyer.
Gaetz was at the center of an ethics investigation for years.

These Florida grifters are really something. They've done a number on people down here in Florida. Taken advantage of people's lack of scruples. No separation of powers down here by the way. And they always speak negatively of the Chinese Communist Party but Florida is really a one party state. They've marginalized the other party to that extent.
