Incumbent Louche LARIZZA is most noted for refusing to speak with The New York Times or PBS Frontline about his mishandling of the September 2, 2010 shooting of Michelle O'Connell in the home of St. Johns County Sheriff's Deputy JEREMY BANKS. LARIZZA had the O'Connell case for five months before deciding to recuse himself and supervised the most heralded coverup in the corrupt political history of St. Johns County.

R.J. LARIZZA and Sheriff DAVID BERNERD SHOAR f/k/a "HOAR" are close political allies in the St. Johns County political machine, under investigation by the FBI Corruption Task Force in Daytona Beach.
Douglas Scott Williams received his law degree and Masters in Business Administration from Stetson University College of Law in 1997. Douglas is a FORMER ASSISTANT STATE ATTORNEY who has also previously worked in a private practice in Orlando, concentrating in product liability and medical malpractice.
