3-2 vote not to fire County Administrator MICHAEL DAVID WANCHICK

Sometimes the dragon wins. But St. Johns County government will never be the same again after today's discussion and vote.

After support from Sheriff DAVID BERNARD SHOAR, formerly known as "HOAR," St. Johns County Commissioners voted 3-2 not to fire County Administrator MICHAEL DAVID WANCHICK today.

SHOAR joined developer puppet JAY MORRIS (R-Ponte Vedra/RPM INTERNATIONAL) in yammering in support of WANCHICK, along with various ethically impaired county officials, past and present.  SHOAR was the only Constitutional officer to speak in support of WANCHICK.

It was revealing that Commissioners were told to support the County Administrator because he gets along with corrupt Sheriff SHOAR, as big a bully as ever infested local government.

WANCHICK has blocked responses to Open Records requests on the Michelle O'Connell case and other matters of public concerns.

WANCHICK has blocked efforts to increase accountability, like an Ombuds and Inspector General.

WANCHICK has a trust problem, as Commissioners discussed.

WANCHICK is sneaky and deceptive.

WANCHICK has blocked efforts to create a St. Augustine National Historical Park and National Seashore.

It's time for WEASEL WANCHICK to go -- the vote of no confidence by Commissioners Jeb Smith and Paul Waldron, and the studied, careful deliberations of Vice Chair Henry Dean and Chairman James Johns are notice to WANCHICK -- we don't trust you.
