No permit fees for artists, no City-controlled censorship of artists in the plaza

See below. It's illegal to charge permit fees to artists on public land. It's wrong to entrust our right-wing City Manager with selection of artists -- or for that matter, his buddies PHIL McDANIEL (who got a St. Augustine Record political cartoonist fired) or ex-Mayor LEN WEEKS, who keeps inserting his mug where it doesn't belong now that he no longer lives in the City of St. Augustine.

The artists need not be molested any further by the mobster-like death grip of City Hall. Let the First Amendment live in the Plaza (Slave Market Square) without latent efforts by WILLIAM B. HARRISS and clones to play Cato the Censor. No fee-grabbing and no official governmental determinations of "art" please.

Leave the artists alone to be artists.
