UNPATRIOTIC PACS ATTACKING ST. AUGUSTINE: Capt. Lee Geanuleas, U.S.N. (Ret.)

Capt. Lee Geanuleas, U.S.N. (Ret.) exposes unpatriotic PACS trying to contaminate St. Augustine's election with lies.

Based on the last two days I think we can safely conclude that those supporting Mayor Shaver's well-funded opponent will inundate the citizens of St Augustine with a torrent of nasty and negative attacks on the mayor.
Guess we can now say that the nastiness of the national political scene has been visited upon our little city thanks to the "Sun Coast Patriots" of Fort Myers, FL. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised that those supporting the mayor's opponent have stooped to paying an out-of-town political action committee to assault us with deceptive political ads.
If it weren't so sad and scary, it would be comical that the "good ol' boys & girls" are attacking an ethical elected official who has worked extremely hard to develop solutions and get money put towards fixing real problems and not paying for somebody's ego-inflating pet project or wasteful junkets to Europe.
Funny, but if you’re going to blame someone for St Augustine’s current problems, why not point the finger at the other two Commission incumbents up for re-election, both of whom have been in office much longer than Mayor Shaver?
Use of nasty attack ads based on falsehoods should tell you all you need to know about this mayoral election. Thank goodness Mayor Shaver is taking the “high road” in her campaign. That will help keep the nastiness and vitriol to a minimum at a time we need a positive focus on recovery and helping those devastated by the storm.
"Patriots," indeed….

The BIG LIE: Reform Mayor Shaver promoted the rating system that resulted in the letter grade ratings for our failing infrastructure. Mayor Nancy Shaver valiantly sought to raise funding for streets and was unable to persuade a single one of her colleagues to join her in a budget reallocation in September 206.  We in the "fact-based community" find this amusing and appalling -- Commissioner "ODD" TODD NEVILLE, JOE "SIX PACK" SAVIAK and their mysterious out-of-town PACmen political consultants --back-shooting cowards -- cannot persuade voters to elect nebbish KRIS PHILLIPS.

Vote for reformers.

Re-elect our beloved reform St. Augustine Mayor Nancy Shaver.
