Federal Indictment: St. Johns County Administrator HUNTER SINCLAIR CONRAD took $8k from alleged bribe payer

Thanks to Florida CFO James Petronis for investigating Florida Clerk of Courts contracts with alleged bribe-payers. A federal indictment alleges that "Clerk E" (HUNTER SINCLAIR CONRAD) took $8000 in 2016 campaign contributions from alleged bribe-payer DONALD DONAGHER, JR. and PENN CREDIT CORP., which has one of three debt collection contracts from St. Johns Clerk of Courts. Here's the docket from federal court in Chicago.

1. Would you please be so kind as to send me all of the documents concerning federally indicted DONALD DONAGHER, JR, PENN CREDIT CORP., other related collection agencies, Florida Clerk's office contracts for collection agencies, alleged quid pro quo campaign contributions?

2. Please include documents on visits, inquiries, calls and responses to investigators, including Florida CFO James Petronis' request for documents from St. Johns County Clerk of Courts and Comptroller.

5. The March 14, 2019 federal indictment in the Northern District of Illinois charges Defendants DONALD DONAGHER, JR. and PENN CREDIT with bribery and conspiracy, using money and lobbyists to land Florida Clerk collections contracts.

6. Spending to win government contracts allegedly included free and discounted campaign robocalls, charitable contributions, plaques, food, event sponsorships, entertainment, gifts, and money spent at strip clubs visited during Clerk's conventions.

8. Hired without any advertising, posting or search, current St. Johns County Administrator HUNTER CONRAD was Clerk of Courts from 2015-2019, and is the "Clerk E" referred to in the federal indictment, which says that Defendant DONAGHER on April 27, 2016 and July 26, 2016 caused $8000 in campaign contributions to be sent to "Clerk E," who responded with gratitude after he won his election, on November 17, 2016, thanking DONAGHER's lobbyist for his "generous support and help during my campaign."

9. St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections records reflect the following contributions received by HUNTER CONRAD for 2016 Clerk of Courts race:
