WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Palm Beach County Courthouse will not lower flags for the late Rush Limbaugh on Wednesday, defying a directive from Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The conservation radio talk show host passed away last week after a battle with lung cancer. The governor announced in a news conference last week that he will order flags at half-staff for Limbaugh once funeral arrangements had been made.
However, the decision has received backlash from many, including Agricultural Commissioner Nikki Fried and Palm Beach County commissioner Melissa McKinlay.
