Yes, John You Are An Apparathik (sic), With No Sense of Humor, The Type Who Head-Butts Reporters

John's [John Mica's?] comment on the blog (below) shows he's read a book once. I suppose he didn't get the humor about being an apparthik [sic{, since he's a thick-headed dull Republican who's all for relieving the stress and strain of Wall Street with bailouts, while mocking recipients of non-corporate welfare as "alligators" not to e fed.

John's (John MIca's) pretty thick if you ask me because of his celebrated head-butting. John's (John MIca's) gotta have a hard head to hit a camera with his toupe and keep on walking.

John's (John Mica) also whined on Plazabum, the self-centered one-sided place where the elite meet to plot against anyone who's ever critized the government (replacing the harridans' and carping harpies' hangout of the former St. Augustine Record Talk of the Town website, R.I.P.).

I should probably point out that no, I am not John Mica. I highly doubt Mica would give this blog his personal attention and time.

It's not that I'm particularly for the man -- it's that I can't see him (or even an assistant) bothering to visit this blog, wade through countless reposts of articles from other sources, only to find that his comments are moderated, and will probably never see the light of day -- mine included! Also, you reference my comment, but when I pull up the post I commented on it's not there!

Also, I do have a sense of humor -- I'm kind of hilarious, actually. However, I was not aware that at any point, this blog was supposed to be humorous.

Here's a protip, this isn't me being a jerk, this isn't me trying to be mean, this is a real, honest, tip: When you copy-paste articles in their entirety and post them, it gets very tiresome to wade through posts to find *your* thoughts and reflections.

I nearly missed this post because it's just swamped in by very long posts.

Rather than copy-paste an article, just provide a link to it. That way, people can click the link and read the article, or just jump straight to your thoughts. Also, it helps visually separate the article from your own thoughts - when I'm quickly scrolling through an article, I oftentimes miss your own personal additions.

Another idea is, you could blockquote the article, this also provides fast, efficient visual separation of your own content versus somebody else's.

So, y'know, a post could become:

[link direct to article]
This article blah blah blah here are my thoughts.

Instead of:
[a billion pages of article]
Some thoughts that are easy to miss because you just scrolled through them.

When you think about it, copy-pasting a perfectly linkable article is wasted bits and bytes.

Also, while I *am* SaxIndustries on plazabum, you should not have assumed we were the same person.

It's not that I have always have a problem with what you say and stand for, I just have a problem with how you go about it. Mostly, this blog.

Initially, I was going to go through Monday's posts, and say "You could easily group x, y, and z together into one posts, with just a few links and then your thoughts," but there were *so many* posts I wound up giving up.

And, I'm afraid that's probably what happens to most people that try and read this blog - there's so many posts, most of them just copy-pastes of articles, that they give up trying to read it, and your message gets lost.

To follow-up what I said before, I just had a thought: Maybe my comment isn't visible because you're not entirely sure how to do it? And maybe that's why the articles are copy-pasted instead of linked?

I would be more than happy to meet with you sometime and show you what I'm talking about, to make your blog a much more effective (and more seriously-taken) device.

Like I said, for me, the means/causes/whatever aren't what bother me, it's the methods that drive me nuts.

Sorry, one last follow-up:

I would hardly, hardly consider myself one of St. Augustine's elite - I'm a practically broke college student!
