Environmental lawyer Henry Dean of St. Augustine Beach is running for County Commission seat 5, currently encumbered by controversial, developer-driven Commissioner PRISCILLA "RACHEL" BENNETT (R-Hutson Companies), who has withdrawn from the race. A former member of the St. Augustine Beach Charter Review Commission who urged protecting "our village" from massive too-tall buildings, Mr. Dean was Executive Director of the South Florida Water Management District and the St. Johns River Water Management District.
