Errors and no facts -- Peter Guinta's approach to environmental journalism

Peter Guinta's article, below, disappoints:
1. Quoting only government officials, not environmentalists or neighborhood associations;
2. Not obtaining basic data from FDEP about the spill size;
3. Missing the starting date of the Maria Sanchez Lake spill (May 21;) and
4. Refusing to report known Environmental Justice issues (about failure of notification of local residents that led to people fishing in Maria Sanchez Lake on Memorial day due to inadequate signage/warnings),
5. Letting John Regan lead him around by the nose so he misses the news.

It's more of the same PR handout diet of gruel, upon which St. Augustine residents are so tired of being indoctrinated by the City of St. Augustine. Their weariness with propaganda is one reason why the Record's revenues are down.
