UGLIER THAN THE HOTEL IS DONALD CRICHLOW'S LONGSTANDING CONFLICT OF INTEREST ON CITY PLANNING MATTERS

The St. Augustine landscape would be permanently marred by erecting an ugly hotel across from Government House and the Cathedral.

The Palatka-style hotel would be erected by the vagaries of a 2003 resolution pushed by COMMISSIONER DONALD CRICHLOW.

On May, 12, 2003, as the resolution was being railroaded through by CRICHLOW, citizens Hiledgarde Pacetti and Henry Whetstone both rightly accused CRICHLOW of having a conflict of interest. Please see below.

As DONALD CRICHLOW cannot deny, when you hire a sitting Commissioner as your architect, there is an "intimidation factor" (his words to newcomers who hired him).

What could be more intimidating than looking at the minutes of the May 12, 2003 meeting and realizing that CRICHLOW is now cashing in on his government service (again).
