No ID, No Shelter, Not "Christian" in St. Augustine, Florida

The Emergency Services Coalition of St. Johns County, St. Francis House, First United Methodist Church and Church of the Nazarene announced today -- by PSA read on Flagler College Radio -- that there's "no room at the inn" for homeless on this freezing northeast Florida night for people without an ID.
You must bring an ID.
You can tell they're Christians by their love.
They must be Republican!
This is about sleeping, not voting.
No answer to phone message left early this afternoon.
Board members says this is a longstanding policy.
Well, we'll just see about that.
Let this be the last time, for as one Facebook commenter said, "What homeless person has photo ID?"
