450th Secrecy Is Stunningly Brazen

First ex-Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR. out-sourced the 450th to FIRST AMERICA FOUNDATION, INC., newly created. With help from Holland & Knight, We, The People stopped his brazen violation of Sunshine and Open Records laws -- along with a trip planned by Commissioners to Spain to "conduct business" in violation of Open Records laws.

Then, the Federal St. Augustine 450th Commemoration Commission conducted business in secret, 2011-2015, violating the Federal Advisory Committee Act.

Now, some 28 weeks before the 450th, the City's 450th staff is unable to name one musical act or any specifics. Time is short. Money was squandered. And the Feral Federal St. Augustine 450th Commemoration Commission, consisting of supremely qualified people, is allegedly a "co-producer" of only one (1) event -- the annual Pedro Menendez de Aviles Noche de Gala on February 28, 2015. (Ticket price is $195/person, unless you and your spouse get free tickets, as do all City of St. Augustine top dogs, well-paid to begin with and taking complimentary tickets for the same reason that dogs lick their private parts -- because they can! Sick. At least our Mayor and Commissioners are no longer accepting free tickets. Thank you.

We deserve answers and disclosures -- what happened to all of the money from past Noche de Galas, and when and where did the federal 450th Commission vote to "co-produce" the Gala. No accounting records -- no reconciliation, no balance sheet, no financial statement, no income statement have been provided for 2012, 2013 and 2014 Galas. Why?
