St. Johns County government achieves remarkable workers compensation insurance rating

Our St. Jonns County government has achieved a remarkable rating for workplace safety from the National Council of Compensation Insurance (NCCI), based in Boca Ratón9

Our current Experience Modification (EMR) rating is 0.78, meaning a 22% discount on rack rates set by the worker's compensation insurance cartel.

Risk management begins with caring about people.

I did not learn of our EMR rating until after our County Budget workshop hearing ended today.  Jesse Dunn, County Office of Management and Budget Director, contrived to limit public comment on ten different subjects to three minutes.

We should not tolerate intolerant managers who obstruct proceedings and deny us information.

Mr. Dunn stiffed The New York Times in 2017 on Open Records requests relating to the September 2, 2010 murder of Ms. Michelle O'Connell.  He's a cognitive miser who earlier refused to answer questions posed by Joe McInerny, an elected supervisions  of the St. Johns County Soil and Water Conservation District.
