SCOTUS to decide "waters of the United States" jurisdiction. (Louisiana Illuminator)
When State Senator TRAVIS HUTSON's HUTSON COMPANIES lobbyist, PRISCILLA "RACHAEL" BENNETT, was our ethically-challenged St. Johns County Commission Chair, there was an item on the agenda about St. Johns County taking a position on federal court litigation regarding the "waters of the United States" rule on wetland jurisdiction. I wanted to respond to the one-sided discussion presided over by a developer tool.
But as I walked to the podium, stiff-necked BENNETT said it was as "discussion item" and that no public comment would be allowed.
What errant nonsense from a haughty harridan, a louche lachrymose lackey receiving campaign largesse from devious developers TRAVIS and DAVIDHUTSON, an other-directed weasel (who cried in 2015 when her efforts to put a sales tax on the ballot failed 3-2, with newly appointed Commissioner James K. Johns priding the deciding vote).
Under our current more enlightened St. Johns Commission Board of County Commissioners Chair, environmental attorney and policy expert I. Henry Dean, I expect professional courtesy.
At the October 4, 2022 meeting, I will request a robust and uninhibited discussion of the County's position on the "waters of the United States" rule. Is that too much to ask, Commissioners?
Citizens must no longer be subject to insults inane imperious interruptions by talentless hick hack developer-funded County Commissioners like bumptious former Commissioners PRISCILLA "RACHAEL" BENNETT and JAY MORRIS, other-dircted political animals with inflated egos masking deep-seated inadequacies.
Mendacious JAY MORRIS repeatedly admitted being recruited to run for Commission by Sheriff DAVID SHOAR.
MORRIS always bragged on his corporate experience as EVP of RPM International.
But jive JAY MORRIS reacted with hatred when I reported the RPM International False Claims Act settled by the federal government against his former corporate employer.
When it comes to corporate whores and horses's asses like BENNETT and MORRIS, "I wear their scorn as a badge of honor," in the immortal words of VP J. Danforth Quayle.
As Mark Twain once said, "there is no distinctly native American criminal class except Congress."
