Subject: "A Better St. Johns Plan" -- Twelve (12) Questions for St. Johns County Commission Vice Chairman CHRISTIAN WHITEHURST and Senator TRAVIS J. HUTSON

Dear BoCC Vice Chairman, Commissioner Christian Whitehurst and State Senator Travis J. Hutson:
1. Who is funding the half million dollar campaign budget to plump for votes for "A Better St. Johns Plan?"
2. Who paid for "A Better St. Johns Plan" website?
3. Who wrote the text of "A Better St. Johns Plan" website?
4. Is it fair to call it misleading?
5. Who verified each of the assertions that the website and you have made about "A Better St.Johns Plan?"
6. Who is paying for  "A Better St. Johns Plan" advertising?   Please send documents.
7. Why are "A Better St. Johns Plan" funders not disclosed on Secretary of State's website?
8. Who suggested that you to go to 10/10/2022 Noon St. Johns County Civic Roundtable meeting after Chairman Dean canceled his appearance at the eleventh hour?
9. Have you or anyone else associated with "A Better St. Johns Plan" and St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners ever received any subpoenas or civil investigative demands in connection with any civil, criminal or administrative investigations?
10. Please send me copies of all pertinent documents on "A Better St. Johns Plan" today.
11. The hundreds of thousands of dollars of "Dark Money" being spent on a deceptive 15% sales tax referendum campaign must be fully disclosed, instanter.  Enough secrecy. As the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan said, "Secrecy is for losers -- for people who don't understand the value of the information."  Whave a Right to Know. Now.
12. As James Madison wrote in 1823, "A popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy; or, perhaps both. Knowledge will forever govern ignorance: And a people who mean to be their own Governors, must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives."
Thank you,
With kindest regards, I am,
Sincerely yours,
Ed Slavin
