Commentary: API is the "switchboard of the controlling companies" in the oil business. Don't take my word for it. The Cofounder of the law firm of Arnold & Porter, Thurman Arnold was head of the Antitrust Division of the Justice Department under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt -- he said that the American Petroleum Institute was the "switchboard of the controlling companies."
So JOHN MICA's brother's been carrying water for them for a quarter of a century.
