Saving Echo House in St. Augustine, Florida

Still no response to my request to Rev. Ronald Rawls and St. Paul A.M.E. Church for any accounting records or timeline reflecting any efforts to restore, preserve and protect Echo House during the last four (4) years. Last Thursday, Rev. Rawls emitted racist tropes at our Historical Architecture Review Board, demanding he be permitted to tear down Echo House for a church parking lot for 50 cars. The racist tropes were undeserved, unkind, uncouth, unChristian, and a stench in the nostrils of our Nation's Oldest City. Upon closer examination of Rev. Rawls' YouTube video, Rev. Rawls emits homophobic substitutes for pastoral leadership. Bigotry . No work for four (4) years to restore Echo House for a school. Roof tiles sold. Interior furnishings, including book cases, removed. Copper downspouts, gone where? It's time for an accounting. It's time for the City of St. Augustine to take back Echo House and work with the National Park Service to restore it, as part of St. Augustine National Historical Park and National Seashore. www.staugustgreen.com What do you reckon?
