Famous Malapropisms and Erroneous Predictions, continued

GERRY DIXON, the project architect for Donna Wendler's proposed fancy-bears hotel, seeking seven demolition permits, unanimously rejected by City Commissioners, claimed in April 2008: "After tonight, there's no holding back. We'll take it to court and it will cost the city millions," he said. "It's a property rights issue. We will win." He also referred to historical preservationists as "hysterical preservationists"
GERRY DIXOND is LEN WEEKS' architect, whose advice to WEEKS re: illegally demolished 62A Spanish Street was ignored by WEEKS, who now faces possible City and OSHA fines. A longtime Planning and Zoning Board member, DIXON is again running for Port & Waterway Commissioner, against Herb Rippe, having resigned from his current seat to do so, seeking to squelch needed reforms.
We SHALL overcome.

Gerry Dixon: Just the latest in a long, long line of the "Princes of Effing Darkness" who practice architecture, law, landscape architecture, contractors, and so on in our town -- and are blood members of the Good Ol' Boy System that is destroying this town. (Cf. Claude L. Weeks, Jr.)

Architects are whores, selling themselves to the highest bidders. They have no morals, consciences, or loyalty except to themselves. (Roxanne Horvath's residence -- have we NO ZONING at all???)

How Gerry Dixon can be PUT on Code Enforcement, PZB, and HARB decade after decade is nothing but cronyism, which flourishes in St. Augustine.

Kick out da bums and all their buddies!
