Flagler College Debate Allows People to Ask Questions At Microphones

Thanks to Flagler College and Channel 4 (owned by the Washington Post) for last night's Mayor and Commissioner debate. There were microphones and students and citizens got to use them. Thank you.

I find this open microphone at a candidates debate hard to believe but a welcome event.

Could it be that the incessant bitching from the fringes is paying off? Will the neighborhood associations take a cue and modify their contrived and over controlled political theater candidates forums where the participants are treated like little children that must speak only through self anointed elite surrogates?

Could it be that the present power structure sees the hand writing on the wall?

When will we encourage AND HELP the homeless to attend these meetings?

Direct democracy, is it right around the corner?

Pollyanna wanna cracker?
