Today's St. Augustine Record announces the end of its "Gourmet Ghost" restaurant reviews.

Restaurant reviews are a good idea, but they should be signed. Apparently, the Record is throwing out the proverbial baby with the bath water. Its so-so review of Gypsy Cab Co. restaurant was undeserved. Its negative review of Raintree as an overpriced tourist trap was righteous and correct. Its positive review of South Beach Grill was well-deserved.
The problem was not with restaurant reviews, but with anonymity.

I'm not sure South Beach deserved such a great review. Something to the tune of Gypsy's review would of been more suited.
