SCOTUS strikes down Florida death penalty law as unconstitutional, 8-1
Read it here. Three cheers for the United States Supreme Court for once again ruling against Florida's maladroit lawmakers. The Florida "hybrid" death penalty system does not require jurors make factual determinations of aggravating circumstances justifying the death penalty.
