DAVID CORNEAL FAIR HOUSING COMPLAINT 4/11 at 4 PM

Citizen B.J. Kalaidi filed a Fair Housing complaint against a corporation controlled by corpulent, controversial creepy Pennsulvania lawyer and St. Augustine real estate speculator DAVID BARTON CORNEAL.
The Fair Housing complaint challenges a sign at 108 Bridge Street, advertising rental housing available only to female students -- a prima facie case of housing discrimination in violation of the City's 1964 Fair Housing ordinance, as amended (as well as the federal Fair Housing Act of 1968, as amended).
Presiding will likely be Vice Mayor Roxanne Horvath.
Why?
Acting on a similar complaint, our reform Mayor, Nancy Shaver ,filed a similar complaint with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Thus, she recused herself earlier when the matter of the "legal sufficiency" of Ms. Kalaidi's appeal was decided.
The hearing will be between 4 and 5 PM at City Hall.
Public comment is permitted before the hearing begins.
