Corrupt Kulturkampf Republican politicians attacking private investment decisions: what errant nonsense!
So much for the freedom state. So much for free markets. So much for the "invisible hand."
Our sad sack St. Johns County Commissioners, County Clerk of Courts and Comptroller, et al. are heavy-handed, and in pari delicto and other-directed on this phony "ESG" issue.
Undemocratic, demagogic and overbearing, in creepy conscious parallelism with indelicate infantile Boy Governor RONALD DION DeSANTIS, our cynical supercilious Republican supermajority Flori-DUH state legislature, and Republican Congress-critters.
Proud of President Biden's first veto, of Dull Republicans' anti-ESG legislation.
Fossil fuel belching Koch Brothers' dirty money and political influence buys votes for feculent fascists. This is especially so here in a corrupt place with an inept all-Republican County Commission, ill-served by subpar County Administrator and subservient County Attorney, our five ill-informed County Commissioners approved a motion by dodgy, duper DeSANTIS-appointed little dummy ROY ALAIMO, JR. to attack ESG, with no intelligent debate.
ALAIMO founded ALAIMO Strategies, LLC while his application to DeSANTIS for the County Commission gig was pending. Still no answer: what is the business of ALAIMO's business?
ALAIMO was a shameless pro-developer vote as a PZB member and was appointed as a likely pro-developer rubber-stamp. He reminds me of what U.S. Rep. Richard Kelly (R-FL) said upon taking $50,000 bribe in ABSCAM undercover sting, and stuffing the ca$h bribe in his jacket pocket: "Does it show?"
ALAIMO will face the verdict of the voters for the first time in 2024.
Three of five County Commission seats will be decided in 2024.
Do our current County Commissioners need a collective spinal implant, or a kick in the pants?
You tell me.
Reject shallow, silly, sibilant sloganeering public serpents.
Reject their Dull ME-publican works and pomps.
Just say "no" to overdevelopment, corporate welfare "incentives," Culture War nostrums, Big Oil attacks on ESG, billionaires and corporations' voracious greed.
Just say "no" to craven County burghers and corrupters subjecting us to clearcutting, waste, fraud, abuse, misfeasance, malfeasance, nonfeasance, flummery, dupery and nincompoopery.
Just say "no" inept, insensitive, lazy louche lapdogs rubber-stamping a $1.55 billion budget without adequate oversight or controls.
I would be honored to represent you on St. Johns County Commission.
