ANNALS OF TRUMPI$TAN: ICE Spent $700 Million on 7 Warehouses. Now It Wants to Get Rid of Them. (Hamed Aleaziz, NY Times, June 18, 2026)

Recent dodgy rubber-stamp zoning approval for warehouses in St. Johns County led me to ask for documents bearing on whether they're destined to be ICE prisons, yielding the customary icy response from our St. Johns County Attorney's office.  As they say in East Tennessee, corporations and their cat's paw public officials do "bear watchin'!"  It's our money.
