City Misses Another Opportunity

An enthusiastic couple who love our town, Mr. and Mrs. Elon and Ruth Wolffsburg, have experience in strategic planning and visioning. They publicly offered to help the City analyze the responses to the City's visioning survey, which asked questions they suggested. Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR. even thanked them and wrote it down. They volunteered to help. No charge. They were NEVER called.
Wonder why? Ask PAUL WILLIAMSON, as inept a PR man as ever drew a breath.
Before the last meeting, I asked for the responses. No reply.
Instead, last month, fifteen City Visioning Committee members were asked to analyze the data for themselves, and will continue doing so tomorrow. PAUL WILLIAMSON said, "I didn't work last weekend." Neither he nor any staff member did for pay what the Wolffsburgs offered to do for free.
Wonder why? Ask PAUL WILLIAMSON, the City's maladroit, unartful, inarticulate PR man. He dropped the ball, once again.
It is time for PAUL WILLIAMSON to go. After fourteen years with the City, he is nothing but wasted payroll. Go, now, please!
