Will St. Augustine Record Merge Into Jacksonville Times-Union?

Stagnant circulation (approximately 13,000) amid a county population boom, lack of reporting on local controversies and corruption, and declining ad revenues may make it inevitable -- is MORRIS COMMUNICATIONS' uninspiring, undercapitalized St. Augustine Record about to merge with its Jacksonville Times-Union due to continuing mismanagement of The Record?

Calls to circulation have for months been answered, "Thank you for calling the Jacksonville Times-Union?

I just went to the St. Augustine Record website and was forwarded to the Jacksonville Times-Union website.

What do you reckon?
