On the early morning of July 8, 2014, Westwood One radio broadcaster Jim Bohannon rudely and cruelly mocked "Andy," a St. Johns County resident from Hastings, Florida, who said in response to his question to the audience that she was working three jobs, laughing when she said she works three jobs and once reported to work as a cashier with a 102 degree fever and diarrhea, taking Ibuprofin and Peptobismal, reporting to work because she feared firing for calling in sick.
The local station is WFOY and WFOY-FM (a/k/a "HATE RADIO," featuring RUSH LIMBAUGH and LAURA INGRAHAM and bigotry (below).
St. Augustine, Florida eight-year incumbent Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR. advertises his law practice on Hate Radio.
Shameful people, indeed.
How sick for American radio broadcasters to mock a low-income worker who who was forced to work while sick. What sadists. What creepy social Darwinists, the sort of employers for whom unions are necessary and proper.
Solidarity forever!
They include employees in safety-related functions (including truck drivers --- risking death to other drivers and passengers, including government contractors from Lockheed Martin to Mail Contractors of America, Inc.).
What evildoers who would ask sick workers to report for work.
How sad that Jim Bohannon, whom I listened to as a teenager on WTOP, has turned into an excuse-maker for the 1%.
Why should anyone have to work three (3) jobs, or be mocked and laughed at for doing so by the likes of Jim Bohannon, George W. Bush or Hate Radio here in St. Augustine, Florida.
Hate Radio here is sponsored by the solo law practice of rebarbative Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR
