2021 Gay Pride Proclamation: Marks Gray Law Firm Defending St. Johns County Commission, Chairman in Civil Rights and Sunshine Case

Only an insurance defense lawyer is representing St. Johns County in the lawsuit filed by Sara Bloomberg over the County Commission Chairman JEREMIAH RAY BLOCKER's illegally blocking a routine GLBTQIA+ Pride Proclamation. County Attorney Patrick Francis McCormack wisely declined to enter an appearance. Wonder why? On June 10, 2021, attorney Susan Erdelyi, of the Marks Gray insurance defense law firm of Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach, entered an appearance in federal court to represet St. Johns County Commission and its current Chairman JEREMIAH RAY BLOCKER, who has blocked a Pride Month proclamation. She will defend these civil rights violators at the June 22, 2021 hearing before the Honorable Timothy Corrigan, Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in the case brought by Sara Bloomberg, represented by attorney Rook Elizabeth Ringer. Marks Gray often defends -- and often loses -- civil rights cases against government agencies, including the 2005 Rainbow flags case agzinst the City of St. Augustine (which now routinely adopts a Pride Month proclamation) In a stunning abuse of governmennt power, the 2021 St. Johns County Pride Proclamation is still being blocked by wet-behind-the-ears County Commission Chairman JEREMIAH RAY BLOCKER (who's "feeling pressure" from recalcitrant rebarbtive retromingent reprobate Dull Republicans, in likely violation of Sunshine law).
