So much for Chairman JEREMIAH RAY BLOCKER's "too left or too right" ukase!

By 5-0 vote, St. Johns County Commission allowed free use of our WGV Convention Center for an anti-Gay Marriage hate rally.

March 15, 2005 World Golf Village Convention Center rally featured anti-Gay bigotry emitted by Reagan's former UNESCO Ambassador, Alan Keyes. Rally held under false pretenses, with lease terms violated -- merchandise was sold, cash contributions were solicited in KFC buckets, and attendance was not open to public (only open to church members).

On April 28, 2021, St. Johns County Commission staff called Sara Bloomberg, rejecting her March 8, 2021 request for an LGBTQIA+ Pride Proclamation, saying Commission would not support anything "too left or too right."

Nothing in writing.

Commissioner Chairman JEREMIAH RAY BLOCKER refused to talk about his blocking it.

This is unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination and violates the First, Ninth and Fourteenth Amendments.

U.S. District Court Chief Judge Timothy J. Corrigan now has under advisement a request for a Temporary Restraining Order.
