It's 11 AM, four weeks before the Election -- do you know where your City's policies are?
Last week, I asked the City of St. Augustine for all of its policies, including hiring and hostile working environment. There are zero African-American firemen and policemen, and sad excuses emitted by Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR.
Policies?
We, The People, are still waiting -- Assistant City Manager TIMMY BURCHFIELD wrote me yesterday that he is still "compiling" them and will advise me of which places (plural) i can visit to see them. They need to be on the Ancient City's website, for all to see, today, as at the smaller, leaner City of St. Augustine Beach.
The "search for the City of St. Augustine's policies" should be easy as pie. It's not an Easter Egg Hunt, or "The Hunt for Red October," or George W. Bush's comedic search for Weapons of Mass Destruction, is it?

Dear Timmy and John:
1. Please send list of all policies before lunch.
2. How long will "compiling" policies take?
3. Need it now, please.
4. One location please -- City Mgr's office.
5. Why don't we have a central place now?
6. Please place all policies on website and provide to Commissioners for their approval or disapproval.
7. Which people do you contend are empowered to make policy?
8. Is there a hiring policy? Please send.
Thanks,
Ed
