Thank you, Mayor Shaver, for the "Greening of St. Augustine"

(Ed Slavin, Nancy Shaver, Michael Gold on Election Night, November 4, 2014; SAR)

Streets are being paved for the first time in years.
Recycling is being increased, with new large wheeled recycling containers being delivered today.
Public lands are being designated as parks forever, not for sale.
Thank you, Mayor Nancy Shaver.
Data-based decision making.
No surprises government.
Asking questions.
Demanding answers.
Listening to citizens.
Acting on their concerns, values and suggestions.
It's called democracy.
It works.
And St. Augustine will never be the same again.
