"TRUMP CLUB" Plans Bastille Day African-American Picnic!

In haec verba: Hick hack "TRUMP CLUB" latest newsletter reveals a July 14, 2018 "African-American picnic."  (Insert joke about racist Republicans HERE)).

In 2016, controversial St. Johns County Republican Executive Committee feted fetid febrile CRAZY CARLOS BERUFF when he twice called President Barack Obma "an animal" twice in one Nuremberg-style hate speech.

Internationally infamous, the SJC REC speech was never reported by a certain so-called local newspaper here, which demurely re-reportat that BERUFF made the remarks before "a local Republican group."

CRAZY CARLOS BERUFF lost the U.S. Senate nomination in 2016.

But as a consolation, CRAZY CARLOS BERUFF was Gov. RICK SCOTT's hand-picked choice as Constitutional Revision Commission Chair.

Weekly Reflections
By Diane Scherff
Happy Birthday, Mr. President.

President Donald Trump turns 72-years-old today and while he has many firsts in his presidency, he is not the oldest sitting president. President Ronald Reagan was 73-years-old when he began his second term in 1985.

President Trump has already blown out his birthday candles as officials in Singapore surprised the president with a birthday cake at lunch on Monday while he was in the country for his historic one-on-one meeting with Chairman Kim Jong Un and an expanded bilateral working session with senior aides from the United States and North Korea, officially establishing a new relationship under a joint agreement of the eventual denuclearization of the North Korean regime. Now that's a reason to celebrate, President Trump. You accomplished what no other US President could have...attempting to make peace with 'Rocket Man.'

Last year on this day, President Trump’s first presidential birthday was marred by the horrific shooting of Republican Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, on a baseball field during practice for the annual Congressional baseball game for charity. Today, Steve Scalise is celebrating the President's birthday swinging the bat again finally in good health. What a difference a year makes.

For over a year, Inspector General Michael Horowitz has been reviewing the FBI and DOJ's actions related to its investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while she was Secretary. Horowitz's findings will likely criticize several officials including ex-FBI Director James Comey, then-attorney General Loretta Lynch, former FBI Director Andrew McCabe and FBI official Peter Strzok. The report is expected to look at whether "certain underlying investigative decisions were based on improper considerations." Really? Come on Sessions, it's been a year and you still haven't brought justice by taking down all of them PLUS Clinton herself.

Regardless, President Trump should be thrilled with his accomplishments on his second birthday as President. Here's to another year of making America great again! MAGA!

Happy Flag Day
America!

The origins of Flag Day go all the way back to 1885 in a schoolhouse in Fredonia, WI where BJ Cigand had his students celebrate the “Flag Birthday” on June 14. The date was significant because it marked the 108th anniversary of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as our national flag. The official holiday of Flag Day was by Proclamation of President Woodrow Wilson in 1916. It became the law of the land when President Harry Truman signed the National Flag Day Act in 1949.

Flag etiquette is important to us all but the biggest thing we can do this Flag Day is to replace worn and tattered flags. The Flag should be folded and destroyed with dignity. Most American Legion Posts have flag disposal boxes where flags can be deposited and then the members of the Post will take care of the flag for you. Most of these posts will have a flag burning ceremony on Flag Day.

Flags can be purchased at a discount from AmericanFlags.com atMilSaver.com and every purchase helps area veteran groups. A portion of every purchase on MilSaver.com is donated to one of our partners- Vets4Vets, Zahara Veterans Network, Jacksonville USO or K9’s For Warriors.

Please Stand for the Flag!

With his historic summit Tuesday with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, President Trump has once again done something astounding and unpredictable.
Trump's critics running out of 'trap doors' to explain good news
“Dilbert” creator Scott Adams told his large following on social media this week that President Trump’s critics are running out of psychological “trap doors” to explain his effectiveness.
Negative Nancy Pelosi bummed out by booming Trump economy
Is Nancy Pelosi a secret agent for the Republican Party? Sometimes you have to wonder. Her latest outburst, in which she derides the accelerating economy and declining unemployment, is so nonsensical that it demeans Democrats’ credibility, shows them to be remarkably out of touch with average Americans and underscores the poverty of their competing platform. It isn’t the first time Pelosi has given GOP candidates rich fodder for ridicule; remember how she compared thousand-dollar bonuses to “crumbs?” That’s a clip that will show well in midterm campaign ads.
Today: The Thing to Know
Reactions to a new era of American diplomacy
Leaders the world over spoke of the powerful significance of President Trump’s summit with Kim Jong Un this week. South Korean President Moon Jae-in called the meeting “historic,” adding that “we will never go back to the past again.” According to the New York Post, people broke into cheers and applause at a train station in Seoul as President Trump shook Chairman Kim’s hand on TV.

Here at home, U.S. officials look forward to a new chapter. “For decades, American policy toward North Korea has failed, and I commend @POTUS for not accepting the status quo,” Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) tweeted. “This an historic opportunity to end the Korean War [and] get North Korea to give up their weapons and missiles,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said.

Security expert Christian Whiton explains what the President’s critics miss about the summit. In the past, U.S. administrations gave away too much upfront. “This time, President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have insisted that North Korea undertake actual disarmament before real financial concessions or even sanctions relief,” Whiton writes.
