ANNALS OF DeSANTISTAN: read 246 page DISNEY v. DeSANTIS lawsuit text.

Overbearing Flori-DUH Boy Governor RONALD DION DeSANTIS's attack on LGBT rights and DISNEY will fail. DISNEY has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Tallahassee. Daniel Petrocelli is DISNEY's lead counsel, from O'Melveny & Myers.

Unlike most Florida government lawyers, Daniel Petrocelli knows how to try a lawsuit. Petrocelli won justice for two murder victims in a civil case in 1997.  After the murders of Mr. Ronald Goldman and Ms. Nicole Brown Simpson, and the acquittal of O.J. SIMPSON by a Los Angeles jury, plaintiff's lawyer Daniel Petrocelli sued abusive wife-killing former football player and movie actor ORENTHAL JAMES SIMPSON.  Petrocelli  won a $32 million wrongful death for Fred Goldman, father of Ron Goldman, one of two fatal murder stabbing victims.

Remarkably, Daniel Petrocelli had never worked on a wrongful death lawsuit before (his experience up until then was intellectual property). Read Daniel Petrocelli's excellent book about the case, Triumph of Justice: The Final Judgment on the Simpson Saga (1998), written with co-author Peter Knobler, a bestseller.

The case is assigned to Chief Judge Mark E. Walker of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida in Tallahassee.

Clear cut case of retaliation on a business for disagreeing with policy.. constitutional rights violation. If DeSantis had made a policy or law and Disney broke the law then ok. But even in that case you must use the courts to bring a specific action for a specific violation of law. Instead, DeSantis and the hogs used their power to intimidate and punish Disney over expressing disagreement. Expressing disagreement is not against the law therefore it is not to be punished by the state. Furthermore, Disney was here before any of these clowns. It's more of a part of Florida than DeSantis and his right wing militia, who will eventually fade with the wind.
