At their June 15, 2016 meeting, St. Johns County School Board members rejected the bid of PERRY-McCALL CONSTRUCTION to build the Aberdeen K-8 Elementary School, 30% higher than expected -- $35,337,000.00.
It's our money.
Possible collusion and bidrigging resulting in only one bid is the subject of my antitrust complaints to the Florida Attorney General and U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division.
Never in documented history has the St. Johns County School Board ever reported suspicious bidding activity to any government agency.
That's what happens when local governments hire conflict-ridden corporate law firms to represent them.
