In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

A very important sum has been overlooked from Abare's and Proctor's salaries.
That is the 30 pieces of silver each collected from developers et al. each time one or the other or both sold our historic structures for demolition to make room for the Satan of Downtown to grow its business: Flagler College.
This school isn't THAT good that it should OWN people who make these decisions.
A pox on the lot of them.
A bit excessive, yes, in light of the fact that it is already excessive that City Manager Regan makes $150 grand a year and his assistant Burchfield $130 grand, and the glorified CPA Litzinger, in 2010, made over 97 grand.
