Our Florida Supreme Court decided the landmark Lee case April 14th, rejecting "unlawful refusal" to provide records conditioned on payment of illegal fees.
We, the People will not tolerate continued attempts to euchre illegal fees for our records.

Dear Messrs. Wanchick and McCormack:
Efforts to reach [you] by telephone yesterday afternoon were unavailing.
When may we view our records on 4700 Sherlock Place water consumption September 2-3, 2010?

Subject: Request Nos. 2015-167 & 2016-57: Smart water meter data for 4700 Sherlock Place: Two years of Open Records lawbreaking must end. Now.
Dear Messrs McCormack and Wanchick:
1. Our Florida Supreme Court this morning decided the landmark Open Records case of Jacksonville Florida Police & Fire Pension Fund v. Curtis Lee, mandating award of attorney fees in a case where government officials violated F.S. 119.12 and "wrongfully refused" to provide records. Jacksonville officials wrongfully attempted to charge hourly copying and supervisory fees to read government documents, violating Article I, Section 24 of our Florida Constitution, enacted by vote of 3.8 million voters in 1992 (83%). Jacksonville must pay attorney fees because of its illegally attempting to extort fees from Mr. Lee.
http://www.floridasupremecourt.org/decisions/2016/sc13-1315.pdf 2. Please allow me to view the 4700 Sherlock Place smart water meter record for September 2-3, 2010 by close of business tomorrow, April 15, 2016.
3. This information is relevant to possible federal crimes involving the September 2, 2010 shooting of Ms. Michelle O'Connell with Deputy Jeremy Banks' service weapon in Deputy Banks' home at 4700 Sherlock Place. With no DNA on the service weapon, Deputy Jeremy Banks claimed that he did not shower. Deputy Debra Maynard testified that Banks "smelled like a fresh shower," there was water on one of the vehicles in the driveway (it had not rained). Banks and Ms. O'Connell had attended an outdoor concert. The public has a right to this simple one-page St. Johns County water use record under Article I, Section 24 of our Florida Constitution. There is enormous public interest in promoting equal justice. Do not attempt again to euchre or gull me into paying any illegal fees, from this day forward.
5. Our Florida Courts will not witness or permit your effort to place a "tax on knowledge" with illegal fees.
6. Kindly cease and desist from all further "unlawful refusal[s]" to provide records in Open Records requests.
7. The whole world is watching. See, e.g.,

Dear Mr. Slavin:
I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your public records request. St. Johns County will determine if it has any records that are responsive to your request. If any such records are located, we will compile them and redact any exempt material prior to providing them to you. Should it be determined that the nature or volume of the public records requested requires the extensive use of information technology resources, or extensive clerical or supervisory assistance, or both, then we will first respond with an estimate of the additional charges for the actual costs incurred, and whether a deposit will be required. In such instance, the records will be compiled only after you approve the charges and the County receives any required deposit. Payment for the total or remaining costs can be made when the records are available. If the actual cost is less than your deposit, you will be refunded the balance.
Thank you,
Asha.
