Counterclaim Dismissed, For Now

Attorney William Sheppard's office has dismissed, for now ("without prejudice" to refile) FDLE Special Agent Rusty Ray Rodgers' counterclaim for malicious prosecution of a civil lawsuit against Sheriff's Deputy JEREMY BANKS. The fourth element of a malicious prosecution claim is that the underlying lawsuit was resolved in the plaintiff's favor. That has not happened (yet).
